My monster's name is Buddy. Can you guess what animal it looks like? I used pattern blocks to make my monster. I used 1 large hexagon, 1 square, 2 trapezoids, 1 triangle, and 4 rhombus Bs. Draw a large hexagon in middle of paper and color it yellow. This is the head. Draw a square directly above and touching the hexagon. Color it orange. This will be my monster's hat. Draw 2 rhombuses, one on each side of the head. A flat side of each rhombus should touch the upper flat sides on the left and right of the head. Color these blue. They are my monster's ears. Touching the lower right side on the head, draw a trapezoid, large side down. Color it red. This makes part of the monster's body. Directly below and touching, draw a trapezoid, large side up. Color it blue. This completes the monster's body. Draw a triangle touching the right side of the red trapezoid and pointing away from the body. Color it green. This is the tail. Directly below the blue trapezoid, draw four rhombus Bs with their points touching the trapezoid. 
Color these brown. These are the monster's legs. To complete the monster, draw a face on the yellow hexagon. Draw 2 small circles for eyes, a small triangle for a nose and a small rectangle for the mouth. Color the eyes, nose and mouth black. You're finished!
