Hello, my name is Ernie! I am the monster living under your stairs. My four best friends are Fubu, Miky, Benji and Spike!

At midnight I go with my friends Fubu and Benji into the kitchen and eat all your food. My friends choose to eat carrots and chips but I have a rather different taste. I like to eat the two-month-old spinach at the back of your fridge and the molded cheese.

Now, I will tell you what I look like so you can identify me.

1. First draw a big circle in the middle of your page for the body. My body is lime green with spattered purple blobs.

2. Draw three stems sticking out of the top of the circle about 2 ' inches high and ' inches thick. Color them lime green.

3. Draw one circle at the end of each stem for the eye. (After step #4 has been drawn, this will look like an outer rim which will be lime green.)

4. In the inside of each circle (eye), draw a medium-sized circle for the eyeball - it will be white. Inside the white eyeball, draw a smaller black circle for the pupil. The outer rim of each eye is lime green.

5. Draw one arm on each side of the body; each arm should be rounded, pointing down and about 6 inches long with three round fingers at the end. The arms are lime green with large purple blotches.

6. Then draw two stubby feet, pointing outwards, about 2 inches long, attaching them to the bottom of the body (from Step #1). Each foot is lime green with 2 purple blobs.

7. Next for the mouth, draw an inverted white isosceles triangle in the upper 1/3 of the body, with jagged little teeth (small triangles) along the inside of all three sides.

8. Sticking out of the right side of the mouth, pointing down, is a blue snake-shaped tongue (a thin tongue with a V at the end) about 2 inches long and 3/4 inches wide, looking much like a ribbon.

9. I am entirely lime green except several purple blobs scattered around my body.
